ARE YOU USING YOUR DAYS FOR THE GLORY OF GOD?
By Jamie Britt
“Whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away.” (James 4:14, NKJV)
Recently, I had a close friend pass away from the horrendous disease of cancer. It ravaged her body, but never her spirit. Even in her last days, she was doing all she could to encourage the people around her. She was using her last bit of time to glorify God. Are we doing that? This verse states that we're only here for a little while and then we're gone. Our life is like a vapor. Let me encourage you, dear readers, to live each day purposefully. We have a choice; we can use our days to destroy the ones around us by our words and actions, or we can use them to lift people up and glorify God. Let's use them for the glory of God.
Though I've been totally blind since birth, I'm not letting that stop me in what I feel God is calling me to do. My heart is compassionate toward women who are struggling to believe there is still hope. My message is a message of hope. I want women to realize that no matter what we go through in life, there's still that strong anchor we can cling to. God has shown me that He is always present through the difficult situations I've experienced in my life. He will never leave, He will never forsake me!
